I started my journey in sports at the tender age of three. Born in the vibrant city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, my early days were filled with the excitement and challenges of athletic pursuits. By the age of eight, I had already represented Zimbabwe in an international capacity, playing my first match in South Africa. Growing up, cricket and hockey were my main sports, but at the age of seven, I discovered a special affinity for squash. It was a unique beginning; my racket was taller than me, symbolizing the early stages of an extraordinary path.
My introduction to sports was significantly influenced by my father, who, at the age of 31, introduced me to the world of athletics. This marked the beginning of a journey that would take me far beyond the borders of Zimbabwe. At the age of twelve, I received a scholarship to Wycliffe College in England.
